VACATION REPORT #4

hello my little possums ... today we were having another big adventure. it was as you might get by the picture, the day of the elk ... in other words, we were at ikea ... what actually is a big adventure if you don't own a car. breathe my little american friends, it is possible to live without a car ;D ... so we had a lot of fun at the public transport system. we went aaaaaaaaaaaaaall the way to the outskirts, what is where ikea is, and we ... as always ... ended up with more in the cart, than we supposed to have in it =D
the vampirate is now the proud owner of a fantabulous cheese shredder and she found me a great new lapdesk, from which i am writing to you right now ... so you see, it works perfectly. more elks were found in the grocery store, where the kindereggs are packed in a little elk box and yes of course we bought one for our dear elka, which will be send out to abq tomorrow. also we got us the tickets for the wonderful shortfilmnight of the enchanted film festival ... yes, that enchanted that means gay ... the short film night is called the elle world which reminds me on stubbing your little noses onto this site the lol-word enjoy, and tune in tomorrow when there will be more adventures from the pussycountry also known as germany.

and the song of the day is of course swedish

artist: mando diao
song: good morning, herr horst
album: ode to ochrasy

I've been walking down the street
With a Tambourine on my feet
I'm holding every beat steady and low
Well if it would've been me
I would have turned in to the Factory
And chase that little girl black and blue

Now I'm bleeding
And I'm freezing
And I'm crying once again
For monday glass
For monday glass

So if you see me on the street
Don't ask me about my passing days
Just slip another coin
And walk away

LaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaLa

I once had a love of mine
With a different heart
In another time
I blew that off with pills and alcohol

I once had a child of mine
With a different heart
In another time
I blew that off with booze and lack of soul

Now I'm bleeding
And 'Im freezing
And I'm crying once again
For monday glass
For monday glass

So if you see me on the street
Don't ask me about my passing days
Just slip another coin
And walk away

Yeah slip another coin
And walk away

LaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaLa

VACATION REPORT #3

brought to you by a very remorseful vampirate

Well, today was spent under house arrest. My protest didn't go over very well with the local authorities. Park furniture still imprisoned and me stuck inside on a rainy Wednesday....
I thought well, perhaps it won't be so bad, maybe I can make some new friends....so I set out to explore my surroundings and there, in the fridge, I found 3 typical German fellas to pal around with for the day. Heinz, Karl, and Horst.
At first I thought it was going to be great! But as the day wore on, and it got closer to dinner time, I realized these were the wurst friends I could have made.
(sigh)
It was fun while it lasted though. The stories, the bar tricks, the sharing of recipes....
But as the sky grew darker, and my stomach grew fuller... I bid auf wiedersehen
to my friends.
We shall see what tomorrow brings. What new adventures await me. Perhaps I will escape outside and roam free.
Watch out Frankfurt!

well it took us a while, to figure out the song of the day, but we think this one will fit ;D

artist: frank'n'furter
song: sweet transvestite
album: the rocky horror picture show

How d'you do, I see you've met my faithful handyman
He's just a little brought down because when you knocked
He thought you were the candyman.
Don't get strung out by the way that I look,
Don't judge a book by its cover
I'm not much of a man by the light of day,
But by night I'm one hell of a lover

I'm just a Sweet Transvestite from Transexual, Transylvania.

So let me show you around, maybe play you a sound
You look like you're both pretty groovy
Or if you want something visual that's not too abysmal
We could take in an old Steve Reeves movie.

I'm glad we caught you at home, could we use your phone?
We're both in a bit of a hurry.
We'll just say where we are, then go back to the car
We don't want to be any worry.

So you got caught with a flat, well, how about that?
Well babies, don't you panic.
By the light of the night when it all seems alright
I'll get you a satanic mechanic.

I'm just a Sweet Transvestite from Transexual, Transylvania.

So why don't you stay for the night? Or maybe a bite?
I could show you my favourite obsession.
I've been making a man with blond hair and a tan
And he's good for relieving my tension

I'm just a Sweet Transvestite from Transexual, Transylvania.

So come up to the lab. And see what's on the slab.
I see you shiver with antici... pation!
But maybe the rain isn't really to blame
So I'll remove the cause, but not the symptom.

VACATION REPORT #2

what we saw today: an exclusive report brought to you by the vampirate
today we came across a shocking spectacle in a Frankfurt park. I was stunned to discover in this day and age such a thing still exists.
Oh sure, tourists come from all over the world to visit the historical momuments that serve as reminders of Germany's darker days, but this, this was a surprise.
Walking through a patoral park filled with happily frolicing dogs, parenting geese, bounding bunnies and the great stroller brigade...well...I just don't know how to tell you about this. The nightmares I will endure from this outing, the psychological scarring...
Darlings, I am talking about Park Auschwitz. Yes, you heard me. Innocent park furniture imprissoned, punished for some unknown crime. To be confined behind high metal fencing. Keeping their chilled seats from the potentially warming German behinds that could break up their lifeless day
The wind blowing through their unprotected legs. If you listened closely to that wind just right, you could hear the faint weeping wood.
I propose a campaign! Yes! To free the park furniture! To release it from its chain link shackles that bind it. To punish NOT the furniture, but the oppressors of said furniture! YES! It starts today, it starts now my friends (cue sweeping, patriotic/revolutionary music) we will stand with our brother and sister park furniture, we will lash ourselves to their fencing, sing our songs of protests, and we will not leave until all of the park furniture is FREE! (music swells)
NEVER AGAIN! NEVER AGAIN!

(tune in tomorrow when the daily blog will be brought to you from a German jail)

until then the song of the day is OF COURSE

artist: queen
song: i want to break free

I want to break free
I want to break free
I want to break free from your lies
You're so self satisfied I don't need you
I've got to break free
God knows, God knows I want to break free.

I've fallen in love
I've fallen in love for the first time

And this time I know it's for real
I've fallen in love, yeah
God knows, God knows I've fallen in love.

It's strange but it's true
I can't get over the way you love me like you do
But I have to be sure
When I walk out that door
Oh how I want to be free, baby
Oh how I want to be free,
Oh how I want to break free.

But life still goes on
I can't get used to, living without, living without,
Living without you by my side
I don't want to live alone, hey
God knows, got to make it on my own
So baby can't you see
I've got to break free.

I've got to break free
I want to break free, yeah
I want, I want, I want, I want to break free.

VACATION REPORT #1

what we saw today:

8 spinning meats and a tOni YAY! she's still alive

we also found a zombie rubberducky, found out mcdonalds is sold out of shrimp burgers and that the prince song is right, right, right

so the song of the day is obviously:

song: sometimes it snows in april
artist: prince
album: parade

Tracy died soon after a long fought civil war,
just after I'd wiped away his last tear
I guess he's better off than he was before,
A whole lot better off than the fools he left here
I used 2 cry 4 Tracy because he was my only friend
Those kind of cars don't pass u every day
I used 2 cry 4 Tracy because I wanted to see him again,
But sometimes sometimes life ain't always the way...

Sometimes it snows in April
Sometimes I feel so bad, so bad
Sometimes I wish life was never ending,
and all good things, they say, never last

Springtime was always my favorite time of year,
A time 4 lovers holding hands in the rain
Now springtime only reminds me of Tracy's tears
Always cry 4 love, never cry 4 pain
He used 2 say so strong unafraid to die
Unafraid of the death that left me hypnotized
No, staring at his picture I realized
No one could cry the way my Tracy cried

Sometimes it snows in April
Sometimes I feel so bad
Sometimes, sometimes I wish that life was never ending,
And all good things, they say, never last

I often dream of heaven and I know that Tracy's there
I know that he has found another friend
Maybe he's found the answer 2 all the April snow
Maybe one day I'll see my Tracy again

Sometimes it snows in April
Sometimes I feel so bad, so bad
Sometimes I wish that life was never ending,
But all good things, they say, never last

All good things that say, never last
And love, it isn't love until it's past
