WOMEN RULE THE WORLD

that was our title on saturday and as i told you we had no chance with this song. it is nice, it swings. this might be a bit extravagant in germany but it still is mediocre. the guy is mediocre looking, even though he tries by constantly wearing 50ies stuff. and this ridiculous hat!!!! anyway, it was nothing new, nothing innovative, nothing that entertained in any way. and now everyone howls about the big fat easter conspiracy. to me this sounds a bit like bad loosers. we didn't get enough points because we were mediocre. but how does our eurovision music industrie dares to say what is right and what is wrong music? what makes them the experts? 40 years of ralph siegel doctrine? it sucks. and now they are trying to change the rules, so that probably andorras vote who has only a few thousand citizens is not counting as much as the vote of france ... they discuss a lot about the eastern countries sharing their points. but i have to declare officially that it was right, that we lost. it wasn't correct, that serbia won, because their song was boring ... but they won. and it is sad that the western countries build up this east west conflict again. now with music. and the press is awful too. they write about betrayel, and all this nonsense.

the serbian song is a classical eurovision song, they participated for the first time , and they sang about a prayer. it had everything a songcontest song needs. slime, cornyness, sad eyes, and some beautiful backgroundsingers. so what? it won. and yes, serbia got twelve points from the countries bosnia-herzegovina, slovenia, montenegro and macedonia ... al countrie that belong to the former republic of jugoslavia before the war. and instead of being happy, that finally these countries find back together again through music, they lament. as if our little swinger would have got points from them!!!! ... this is silly. i wish these morons could take a defeat with dignity. i am deeply ashamed about my country and all the western countries that blow into this conspiracy horn because they were too bad.

i mean... ireland! someone should have told them it is not good to take novocaine before performing. england was simply hilarious. the correct reward for an act like that is corporal punishment, not points. and i don't know what we are whincing about we got zero points 29 times. and our highest scroe was 7 what we gained from austria and switzerland! isn't that neighbours help too?

anyway, i am happy to have found out that the ranking wouldn't be any different, even if the eastern countries hadn't voted at all ;D

and i wished that the ukraine had won ... that was something that you can call a lot of things but really not mediocre ;D

here it is:

i LOVE that song =D

THAT is silly listening!!! no sense just fun - YAY

hehee ... songcontest everywhere. oh ireland was definitely on valium.
i cant take eurovison serious anymore also not with all the debating about the voting and helping neighbours ... i mean ... the quality times are over (apparently, see video to prove), so i see no sense in taking this hole thing to a political stage.

Ukraine rocks my socks!

As lady luck would have it BBC decided that they would not give us here in Africa a live broadcast but a recording some time later this month.
Just when I actually have someone to talk about the show to... darn Brits.
Butt I still thought about you dear Nico....
In fact I think of you often these days.

Nico, I wondered what you thought about the whole thing. I was only able to watch the finals but not read any of the reaction afterwards so have no idea about the big controversy.

Anyway, the woman from Serbia really could sing. And Ukraine song was soooo gay. OMG, I love that! They should come to Minnesota and perform.
